It's been a crazy year for Bamalam Productions and we are delighted you've all stuck with us.
We are thrilled to share with you that we have once again received funding from ARTS COUNCIL ENGLAND. Funding that has gone towards the adaptation of Ian Townsend's multi award winning play "All The Bens."
Starring:
Nathaniel Hall - It's A Sin (Russel T Davies), First Time (about to resume it's National Tour.)
Jack Bence - Bad Education(BBC), Peep Show (CHANNEL 4), Sherlock (BBC).
Finn Walters - Mr Stink (UK tour), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, A Christmas Carol
Directed by Joseph Lidster - best known for his work at Big Finish Productions for whom he has written, produced and directed countless audio dramas for their various ranges including Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sapphire & Steel, Bernice Summerfield and Dark Shadows.
Adapted for Audio by Ian Winterton - For the screen, Ian has written a trio of short films –Balance, One of the Crowd andThe Ghosts of Abercwmboi. His play, Sherica won a Manchester Theatre Award and was nominated for the BBC’s Alfred Bradley Bursary Award.
The fabulous supporting cast includes, Joanne Dakin, Chris Jack and Samuel Thompson
and features the incredible music of Minute Taker
Releasing on all podcast platforms on 1st September 2021, we are delighted to be tying this release into a launch event party, including a live sharing and Q&A with the team, at Manchesters Theatre 53Two.
We are also raising money for George House Trust (https://ght.org.uk) a charity close to the heart of Nathaniel Hall, who have supported him for many years. George House Trust have been providing HIV support and advice services since 1985. They are a service user-centred organisation with a diverse team of highly trained and knowledgeable staff and volunteers.
