Poetry Week
Our poetry weeks celebrate local artists and each Poetry Pod is a selection of beautiful poems and spoken word perfect for a relaxing listen.
We're currently working on our fourth Poetry Week.
Our Lockdown Poetry Week podcast, we hope, will be piece of living history. We are proposing to collect audio clips from people in our community that capture how Wigan is coping with the current global pandemic.
We want to hear stories, poems, spoken word and potentially song from volunteers, NHS staff & key workers and families with experience of life in lockdown. We’d welcome stories both sad and positive and then we’d edit and produce a series of podcasts.
